Planning the return to the Old Carbon County Jail

Most of the members of EPPRI have already visited/investigated the Old Carbon County Jail in Jim Thorpe, and I am excited to announce that I've been in contact with the owners of the building for information concerning an investigation and from what I can tell, all looks well..

As you may or may not know, the Old Carbon County Jail is home to the infamous handprint of Alexander Campbell in Cell #17..  Another F.Y.I....  The prison was built and designed by Edward Haviland, son of John Haviland, who built the Eastern State Penitentiary...

"his hand print is still there to this day. Sheriffs have tried to remove it over the years, but to no avail. They’ve tried cleaning it off, painting it over and even tearing down the wall and rebuilding a new one. Regardless of their method, the hand print returns as if seeping through from another dimension."

Many visitors have encountered disturbing feelings, odd smells, strange voices, slanting floors, and shadowy images.  I myself have caught shadow people and orbs in the gallows and solitary areas of the jail in past visits.  This place is a MUST see..

We will be opening this investigation up to select members of the public for a fee, also EPPRI members will also be required to pay a small fee to join the investigation. This is one of the events ALL members must attend in 2011..
